The International Bionomics Institute (IBI) is a scientific-educational non-for-profit organization.
Mission: To contribute to sustainability
Activities:
1. Scientific and research (development of the scientific basis for Eco-efficient Economy (EEE) or sustainable economy);
2. Publishing (publication of scientific materials on bionomics, ecology, economics etc.);
3. Educational (ecological education and culture, bionomics, eco-efficiency, sustainable development etc.);
4. Practical (design and realization of investment projects and programms in the sphere of environmental safety, energy efficiency, for rising level of bionomics of cities, regions and countries so, that they could transfer to sustainable development most comfortable way).
 
Bionomics (biology of a social organism) – young cross-disciplinary department of knowledge merging biology and economy, studing economic forms of life (structure, behavior, evolution of economic (social) organisms, their mutual relations and ecosystems). Bionomics is the most sustainable, effective and environmentally healthy economy. High level of bionomics of a city (region, country) means that the city (region, country) produce more values at lower cost and doing less harm to the environment. Bionomics unites scientific achievements and innovations to make a modern city evolve into a sustainable super ecosystem. Rise of the level of bionomics possible only with simultaneous lowering of level of corruption and rising of level of government efficiency. Bionomics is a key to a sustainable civilization.
